Cutsie Lollipop Cupcakes

over at the Trendy Treehouse! If you have been reading my blog for a while now, you know that I LOVE Creative Share Wednesday. This post is inspired by the Little Creator Class that I taught tonight. The kiddies and I made cute little flower pots.

We decorated small Terra-cotta Pots, then planted some flower seeds. Some of the kids planted daisies, some planted Marigolds! They were all so cute. Let’s just hope they take them home and take care of them so they will actually grow.

Sad to say, but I completely ran out of time to snag one single shot of the kids while they worked! So, instead I figured I would share a cute way to make cupcakes for Spring, or for that special EASTER occasion!

What you need:

A batch of your favorite cupcakes. Icing. Bright Sprinkles. Green Airheads. Assorted Flavor Lollipops.

What to do:

Pile a mound of icing on top of the pre-made cupcakes, then dip the top of the cupcake in a bowl of bright and colorful sprinkles. To make the little green leaves, cut a leaf shape from the Green Airhead and shape it to look life a cute little leaf. Place one of the lollipops in the center of a cupcake and add the leaf to the side.

This little tid-bit can be taken and evolved in so many different ways. Take what I have shared with you, and make it your own. It’s so fun to simply be inspired by something, and letting it just completely take over your brain with crazy and fun NEW ideas. ahh I love it. Don’t know what I would do if I wasn’t inspired!

ENJOY! and please stop by the Trendy Treehouse and Martha Stewart!
