busy little lady

Hey Hey Hey.

I have been a busy little lady. It has been insane. This entire week I have spent SO much time with my auntie. She is giving Sweet Raeghan a graduation Reception. It is going to be so MAJOR. Seriously, that’s an understatement. She comes up with GREAT ideas. I then become the executer and that title I am SO overjoyed to have. I love love love more than anything taking ideas and running with them….its actually when Im at my best.

Raeghan has worked SO hard in school at JCIB and it is all paying off. It’s the least we can do to show her how proud we are!! She knows.

So I MUST hurry and get ready to see my church 29:11 church family who I LOOOOVEEEE so much.

I will be back later with RECEPTION photos and LOTS of them.

Test Kitchen

Hi loves.

Tonight I made the kitchen into the ItsyBitsyBrianna Test Kitchen and boy oh boy was it a BLAST! For Sunday’s big day, I am making SO many things and I am more than thrilled to be doing so. Cookies are one of those things I will be making. So, tonight I decided to give the cookies a trial run just to be on the safe side!

I think for the first time they turned out great! Now I have my perfection pants on when I start the real ones for the reception, but these were just for trail and error! It was SO much fun. Well well, as I told you earlier this week…my week has been jammed full of things to get accomplished. So far, I’m making it pretty well.

Hope yours is going wonderful!

Striped Tray DIY

I found a DIY that I just really MUST do….like ASAP.

It’s STRIPED!!!!! Perfect:)

I saw this DIY from none other than the brilliant Martha Stewart. It’s a SUPER Simple project. All you need is a metal tray, tape, and paint….plus a little bit of spare time.

All you do is clean the tray thoroughly, let it dry completely.

After it’s dry, tape off the stripes! Then paint the created stripes with your choice of enamel paint! Let it dry…remove the tape! You can seal the surface with a clear paint sealer!

That’s it! The perfect tray for Lemonade POOLSIDE! ahhh refreshing!

Thank you lovely martha!

I will have LOADS of creative sharing over the weekend so just be prepared.

Lucky Shoes

I am openly admitting….I have a SHOE problem.

This isn’t something that just recently developed. I’ve had a shoe problem for as long as I can remember. I love shoes. awholefreakinlot. I do know, I get it honestly. I believe this problem is passed down through our genes. My mom loves shoes, my grandmommy, and my Nanny, all LOVE shoes.

So in honor of my shoe obsessions, TOP TWO is all about Lucky Shoes this week.

Here are my picks

NUMBER ONE

Stillwater Studded Wedge I am in DESPERATE need of a new neutral colored wedge. The pair I have, seriously, I have had for well over four, or five years….time for some new ones.

NUMBER TWO

Silvia Wedge

I am in love with the color palette of this wedge. It’s so perfect for so many of my summer pieces. I just absolutely LOVE (and need) these.

Well those are my Lucky Shoe Picks!

What are yours? Do share.

Mom & Toppers

Hi my lovely blog readers.

I hope you all honored your mom and loved her SO much on Mother’s Day…wait actually you should do those things every. single. day.

I have been so busy, and it’s only going to get even more crazy around here this week.

One of my FAVORITE ladies is graduating next week. Raeghan has worked SO hard, studied, and sacrificed and it’s all finally paying off. Her graduation reception is this upcoming Sunday and I am SO excited about it.

We are in OVERLOAD working really hard to make it PERFECT. My aunt has done the most amazing job of planning, and we make a pretty great team executing.

Last night, Rae and I started making some cupcake toppers for her mini cupcakes, and I finished those tonight! They turned out EXACTLY how I wanted them to.

Here are a few sneak-peaks.

See how cute they are….and adding them to a mini cupcake will only make them completely demolish the cuteness scale! ha.

I’ll be posting small peaks all throughout the week, but after Sunday, There will be post overload of photos!!

Hope Monday went by well for you.

Tootles for now.

FAB for life. Seriously.

Yesterday as soon as I got off work,

I hit the road FULL SPEED (and a little bit over) ahead to Florence to spend the night with FRANCES! We had such a fun night!!! She showed off her awesome and creative workspace. I learned to make stamps, which was SO fun:)

We had really great talks over sushi. Then of course, we just had to make something! And how perfect is this…We BOTH had making cupcake toppers on our to-do list. It’s so strange how Fran and I just seem to be on the same wavelength about nearly everything. She had some to make for a baby shower, and I have some to make for a graduation reception. Oh the leaps and bounds we could conquer if we lived in the same city!

Frances had a gun shooting class to attend today, so my plans are to buy alot of the supplies I need for the upcoming week to help out with Raeghans graduation reception. I might have to make a pit stop by bed bath and beyond, and tjmaxx then Im back on the road to Birmingham just in time for a going away party for my dear friend Kristie!

Happy and relaxing Saturday! Try and stay out of the rain.

Who Doesn’t Love an Asian Recipe?

How was Wednesday for you? Well well, mine was the norm….My boss kicked Mel B, Chris, & I out of the office around or a little after six. No big deal.

Finally, after that, I got to spend good quality time with my small group. Tonights study really gripped my heart. Sometimes our human nature makes it so easy to look over the amazing fact that there isn’t one single thing in this life that can give us everlasting love and joy like the love of God. Even in the toughest struggles, when life throws it’s abusive curveballs, there is overwhelming comfort in knowing that God’s love brings Power, Strength, and an indescribable Peace. Don’t forget that. EVER.
