About itsybitsybrianna

I am a recent college graduate from University of North Alabama. I live for those "ah haaa" moments where my creativity completely takes over my mind. In that place, I am able to take what others consider a "nothing", and turn it into a true beauty. This is what I want to do everyday for the rest of my life. LIVE. LOVE. CREATE. INSPIRE

Already Gone.

Can I just be completely honest? My focus for this week is completely gone. My motivation, focus and drive, has already left and is on its way to the Beautiful Florida beaches. It needs a BREAK!

This week has been creeping by and the whole reason why, is because I am SO anxious to be lounging & soaking up the Florida Sun for some much MUCH needed BRIANNA & Family time. I can’t WAIT to be on the beach.  I have so much to let go of!!!

I need some good, quiet, peaceful, thinking time. I have a lot to sort out and this upcoming week, is the PERFECT time for me to do that! I never have time during the week to breath or even think or assess my life as it is now. That’s NOT good. That will change during my weeks vacation. I will come back completely refreshed and with a new attitude and cleared mind.

I’m off for some rest! I want tomorrow to come and go as quick as possible!! I’m just ready for the beach. That’s all.

New Project!

Hi! Sooo I have a new project in the planning process.

I will be creating a new Sofa Bed. It’s going to be a really FUN, as well as a trial & error project. But none the less it will  be done.

and I will be getting this guy to help me.

Or to be completely HONEST, he will do all of the physical construction. I will be sewing fabric and fitting it to wooden frames. I also will be the creative behind it, as well as the ‘project manager!’

Not going to lie, I am ECSTATIC about starting.

I’m on the hunt for some foam slabs. The entire width of the completed bed will be 72in. And one thing I’ve noticed, foam isn’t the cheapest of materials. boo hoo. You know what a thrifty shopper I am. But, also, you know that once I get something in my head, I pretty much won’t give it a rest until I accomplish it or make it happen.

If I can’t find reasonable foam, the plan is to figure something else out….in the words of Mr. Tim Gunn, “Make it Work!”

I am having a little bit of a rough time picking the fabric! Ohhh Slow down Brianna. One step at a time. I better stay on track for now after the foam! I’ll get back to the fabric! But in the mean time…if you have any fabric suggestions, please do share!

Saturday Photos

hi loves.

oh my goodness, today has been p e r f e c t! I have had no plans all day, except go to the bank, then lay out by the pool.

and after a paycheck with THIS many hours of overtime work, I can honestly say I deserve it! That is just ridiculous.

I am house sitting this week, so a couple of friends came over to my side of town. we went out to dinner, then had a fun game night! it was a BLAST.

This morning the pups woke up SO early. I went to take care of some bank stuff. I visited my grandmommy & grandaddy, then I went to layout poolside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I’m going to need it especially since EVERYONE is off on Monday for the Memorial Day Holiday… HA Not this girl. I’ll be at work.

OH something I thought you would enjoy,…my friend and co-worker Bethany put a new vinyl on my car. LOVE? I sure do. It makes me smile from ear to ear when I look in my rearview mirror and see it!

I’m heading off for a swimwear shopping trip with my parents. We are going to the beach next weekend! Hallelujah.

Good Friends & Easy Centerpiece

Hey my dear friends.

I have had a really great day. BUSY work day. Worked late. Typical.

My GREAT friends Whitney & Michael were driving through from Florida to visit in Florence, so they so kindly waited on me to get off so we could grab a quick dinner together! I haven’t seen them in almost a YEAR!

I was SO excited to see Whit!!! She’s such a great friend. Her and Michael are just SO MUCH FUN to be around. They are hilarious and adorable together. In just a few weeks I will be visiting them in FLORIDA. Gosh I can’t wait! It’s going to be SO much fun.

Tonight for Creative Share, I wanted to show you these simple centerpieces that we made for Raeghan’s Graduation Party.

All you need for these adorable pieces are

A couple of Glass Cylinder Vases (All of mine were $1 from the Dollar Tree)

8 x10 Prints, Your personal choice of color or B&W photographs

Marker, Scissors, & Tape

Pretty Flowers

To make the centerpeices, you simple roll the photo inside out and put it inside of the vase. Depending on the size of the vase you purchase, you might have to trim the photo. Using a marker mark around the edge of the top of the vase so you will know how much you need to trim off. Remove the photo from the vase, and cut the excess part of the print off. Now roll the photo so that the image is facing out. Place that inside of the vase, letting it form to the inside of the vase. Now using a small piece of tape, secure the edge of the photo so that it stays in a cylinder shape.

Place the pretty flowers inside the vase and arrange them as needed!

That’s it. A personal and greatly budgeted way to add a nice touch to any table.

Tootles for tonight. I have a BUSY day tomorrow. Work then RAEGHAN is Graduating from JCIB. ughhh I can’t believe my little Raeghan is graduating. AND in a few weeks we will be laying on the beach soaking up the gorgeous Florida sun rays together.

Talking about past memories and planning new ones.

Raeghan’s Graduation Reception

Hey lovely! This weekend was a blast! How was yours?

I worked worked and worked with my auntie on Friday night working on everything for Rae’s graduation reception.

Friday night I made cake balls and we made Reese’s Graduation Caps and random decorations. We started around 7 and I left there house around 2. So, as you see Friday was a work work work sort of night. Saturday I had to work! As much as I was dreading it, I was pleasantly surprised that it was a really great, but busy day at Rocky Heights. The work day went by SUPER fast which is always a good thing! As soon as I got off, I got back to work for the reception, baking baking and baking some more.

Saturday night I made Glazed Sugar Cookies,

Pineapple Cupcakes, Blueberry Cupcakes, and Coconut Cupcakes.

I was up soooo long finishing all that up, so needless to say, Sunday when I woke up, I wasn’t feeling so rested.

As soon as church was over, I ran off to round everything up, then all of the crazy and fun began! We had to wash fruit, cut fruit, build fruit towers, set tables, set decor, set trays,…and the list goes on and on! Aunt Stacey had rounded up some really great helpers and we all made a GREAT team! Here are a few photos of everything!

ENJOY!

I LOVED this photo of Raeghan and I when we were kiddos!

She has always been the little sis I never had. I am SO proud of her and Love this girl more than words can describe!

I’ll share more photos of Raeghan and her guests later!

Until then I sure hope you’ve enjoyed a little peek into the very successful reception.

busy little lady

Hey Hey Hey.

I have been a busy little lady. It has been insane. This entire week I have spent SO much time with my auntie. She is giving Sweet Raeghan a graduation Reception. It is going to be so MAJOR. Seriously, that’s an understatement. She comes up with GREAT ideas. I then become the executer and that title I am SO overjoyed to have. I love love love more than anything taking ideas and running with them….its actually when Im at my best.

Raeghan has worked SO hard in school at JCIB and it is all paying off. It’s the least we can do to show her how proud we are!! She knows.

So I MUST hurry and get ready to see my church 29:11 church family who I LOOOOVEEEE so much.

I will be back later with RECEPTION photos and LOTS of them.

Test Kitchen

Hi loves.

Tonight I made the kitchen into the ItsyBitsyBrianna Test Kitchen and boy oh boy was it a BLAST! For Sunday’s big day, I am making SO many things and I am more than thrilled to be doing so. Cookies are one of those things I will be making. So, tonight I decided to give the cookies a trial run just to be on the safe side!

I think for the first time they turned out great! Now I have my perfection pants on when I start the real ones for the reception, but these were just for trail and error! It was SO much fun. Well well, as I told you earlier this week…my week has been jammed full of things to get accomplished. So far, I’m making it pretty well.

Hope yours is going wonderful!

Striped Tray DIY

I found a DIY that I just really MUST do….like ASAP.

It’s STRIPED!!!!! Perfect:)

I saw this DIY from none other than the brilliant Martha Stewart. It’s a SUPER Simple project. All you need is a metal tray, tape, and paint….plus a little bit of spare time.

All you do is clean the tray thoroughly, let it dry completely.

After it’s dry, tape off the stripes! Then paint the created stripes with your choice of enamel paint! Let it dry…remove the tape! You can seal the surface with a clear paint sealer!

That’s it! The perfect tray for Lemonade POOLSIDE! ahhh refreshing!

Thank you lovely martha!

I will have LOADS of creative sharing over the weekend so just be prepared.
